Kado Stealth Review | Stealth Vape in Style

Kado-stealth

Gift stealth intro

The Kado Stealth is a refillable pod vape similar in design and specs to Suorin’s Drop and Air models. It’s almost like a cross between the two. It’s shaped somewhat like the Air with a side-mounted mouthpiece and a similar draw, and the heft and build quality feels more like the Drop.

The pod’s resistance and the juice capacity are basically the same too. Just 2 mL capacity for refilling, and a resistance of 1.2 ohms. But the Kado Stealth battery does have a bit of an edge over the Suorin products. Instead of just 300 mAh, the Stealth provides 450 mAh.

Design and build quality

Kado-stealth

For a simple pod device, the Stealth is manufactured well. It has a similar footprint as the Air, but it’s got an asymmetrical – almost “Gumby” – shape. Also, different from the Air, there are deep sweeping grooves on the front that help it feel secure in the hand.

The Kado Stealth weighs 60 grams, which is about the same as the Drop. And the materials also feel the same as the Drop, though the Stealth has three-distinct finishes: hard and glossy plastic pods, a rubber coating, and a ribbed rubber coating over a zinc alloy shell.

Kado Stealth Pods

The “Slim Pods” for the Stealth fit into the battery housing with low tolerances. At times it feels too tight, but at least they won’t come out easily. They do click into place, but it’s not at all a satisfying solid click.

Filling the pods is easy as long as you have a needle-nose dripper, unicorn bottle or syringe — but the fill port is not large enough to fill with a regular dropper without making a mess of things. To fill, just pop open the large side of the plug leaving the smaller section stuck in place. Also note that when you fill, you will need to hold the pod up to the light — to see how much you’ve filled — since the pods are so dark (which isn’t helpful when checking juice levels).

The mouthpiece is like the Suorin Air (and the new JWELL La Carte) in that it’s side-mounted. But the asymmetrical design of the pod is a bit odd. One side is more of a right angle and the side with the mouthpiece is round. I wish the mouthpiece was on the other side, but it’s a minor thing that doesn’t affect the performance.

Performance

This is what really matters! The Kado Stealth provides flavor about as good as the Air, but the vapor production is fairly lacking, even for a stealth device. Also, there’s hardly any throat hit, even with my 36 mg/mL WTA (from Aroma Ejuice – which hits super hard!) or with 50 mg/mL nic salt (from I love Salts!). That is kind of a bummer for me.

The draw is tight — a legit MTL — but it’s an easy draw that doesn’t require pulling hard and collapsing your cheeks. The one strange thing about this vape is that if you draw on the device a little too hard (and most times it’s unavoidable), the pod continues to sizzle for a full second (almost like it’s actually firing). And it’s loud! At first it made me not want to use it, but I got used to it.

I was only sent one pod, so I can’t speak to the consistency of the coils. But the longevity of this one pod has been good. I’ve had it for a couple weeks and refilled this one pod five times with no drop in performance (although that is still only 10 mL total). Furthermore, there has been absolutely no leaking, hot pops, or even juice in the mouth… just that awkward and loud after-sizzle.

Kado Stealth Battery

Kado-stealth

With no real way to quantify how long the battery lasts, all I can say is it lasts a longer than similar devices.

The battery status LED is just a single circular blue light that glows on the front of the device (below the colored stripe, lit under the glossy black strip). No matter the battery level, the light stays blue — it flashes when the battery is dead.

When charging, it takes quite awhile, which speaks to its overall capacity — though this won’t make you feel better when waiting for it to charge. It took exactly one hour to charge. While charging, the light stays blue the whole time until it blinks for a few seconds, then goes off.

Alpine by Syntheticloud – a steep RDTA offer from Americans

I would not say that Syntheticloud is widely heard, but a certain category of vapers know about them. It’s about lovers of expensive products, because that’s what Americans are doing. On our site you could already see reviews on the devices from this brand. The most recognizable, probably, is the Aeolus Lite RDA , which was told to us by Ilya. In addition, there were also fashion boxing Heavyweight v2 and Spectra 200W . Now the guys decided to expand their activities somewhat and perform in a new segment. The choice fell on RDTA , which have become insanely popular, recently. Meet Alpine .

Alpine by Synthicloud - a steep RDTA offer from Americans

I can not say that outwardly the tank is something unreal. I am glad that he does not at least resemble those RDTA that has long been on the market. I would call the design “typical American” – all that powerful. The novelty is available in three colors – black, gold, and steel. The first two I threw away immediately, but the steel version is very nice! By the way, the diameter of the atomizer is 24 mm.

Specifications :

Do you base this atomizer does not remind? Personally, I immediately had an idea about Petri RDA. The idea is similar – two racks, each with one large hole. Cross screws, made of titanium, are located on top. I do not know much about metals, but I’ve heard about the unreal strength of titanium. Well, I do not know, the experience of my environment suggests that you can do well with conventional but high-quality screws. But this solution is in perfect harmony with the gilded base.

Vata is placed in special channels. The capacity of RDTA can be compared with a large dribble of about the same size – 3 ml. Well, I do not know, it’s unlikely that a person who decided to switch to RDTAwill be pleased with this volume, especially if you pamper yourself with interesting spirals. But everything is refueled very simply! Fortunately, the engineers decided not to strain any side filling, and made a filling channel between the racks. Just remove the lid, take the bottle and fill the liquid.

Alpine by Synthicloud - a steep RDTA offer from Americans

Alpine by Synthicloud - a steep RDTA offer from Americans

Air intake to the spirals was taken care of and provided for as many as two blowing systems. First, there is a lateral blowing through which air gets directly on the spiral. Secondly, a certain amount of work is performed by the upper air blast. Apparently, the manufacturer hopes that this will help him cool the steam. Adjust all this by turning the top cover or the skirt of the case. Simple and practical.

Alpine by Synthicloud - a steep RDTA offer from Americans

As I said, the price tag for the products of Synthicloudpretty serious. The novelty can now be ordered in online stores at a price of about $ 50. I ‘ll remind you that you can get RDTA from IJOY , for example, you can do it for about $ 30, at the same time, there will be a whole bunch of useful accessories in the kit. At the same time, I understand that Alpine RDTA still has some interest. Atomizer turned out to be quite good, and it will be able to attract the attention of customers. As for the price, there are two options. Or we are waiting for the price reduction from the manufacturer itself, or we begin to search for quality clones

VGOD PRO 200W TC starter kit review – great cloud chasing box mod and tank

VGOD PRO 200W TC Kit

For the ultimate combination of vaping performance and looks the VGOD PRO 200W TC Kit is a clear winner. This state of the art box mod is built for extreme versatility and comes with an equally powerful sub ohm tank. It’s lightweight, durable, and has one of the best grips we tried. Designed by a team of US vape tricksters and manufactured by Atom Vapes China, the device is a great cloud chasing tool.

Focus On www.ave40.com For More Vape Kits.

PROS:

Outstanding built quality

Excellent grip

Great chip

CONS:

Getting in the menu and navigating can be quite tricky

What you get with the starter kit

The VGOD PRO 200W TC box mod doesn’t come alone. In the same cardboard box you will also find the 24mm VGOD Pro Subtank, a coil, spare O-rings, an extra glass section and the user manuals. There’s no micro-USB cable for charging, but chances are you already have one lying around your desk.

The device is only available in black, but it looks amazing and makes a good first impression.

A box mod with an impressive design

Despite being your standard dual 18650 box mod, the VGOD PRO 200W TC is like nothing we’ve seen before. The protruding side panels are rubberized and they offer plenty of grip. This makes the device fit in any size hands and regardless if you are left or right handed. In addition, the fire button is flush at the top for a very natural feel.

The VGOD PRO measures 85mm x 27mm x 57mm and weighs around 185 grams. It has a spring loaded 510 connector on top and the display, plus/minus buttons and micro-USB slot on the main side. The battery door acts as the left side panel and it’s held in place by super strong magnets. You will need two high drain 18650 cells to power up this bad boy and we recommend also getting an external charger.

VGOD PRO 200W TC Kit presentation

The Chip and main features

If you ever wondered what pros vape on, then this box mod is the perfect example. The VGOD PRO 200W TC is powered by the proprietary ATOM.V.200B chipset. This is one of the most responsive and accurate chips that we tried. It’s packed with features and it’s engineered to get the most out of any sub ohm tank or rebuildable atomizer.

The device will fire down to 0.08 Ohms in temperature control mode and features presets for Nickel, Titanium, Stainless Steel SS316, and SS304. You also get MECH mode where the chip delivers power similar to an unregulated mod. Another cool feature is the Pro Mode, which acts as a power curves menu for up to 7 seconds time interval in 1s increments.

The side mounted 0.98-inch display features various color schemes and there’s even a brightness adjustment option. It’s crisp, easy to read and full of information.

The VGOD PRO Sub Ohm tank

As you’ve probably guessed, the VGOD PRO Sub Ohm tank is a more than worthy sidekick for the mod. The 24mm stainless steel and Pyrex cloud chaser comes with a 0.2 Ohm Shotgun coil. This is best used between 30 – 100W, however we found its sweet spot at around 60W.

The tank has a total capacity of 5.0ml and the two built-in shields offer it a distinctive design. It features easy top fill as well as convenient airflow adjustment.

In terms of vapor production and flavor this sub ohm tank is very hard to beat. Also it’s hands down one of the most impressive on the market today. The vapor is warm and rich and the overall experience is going to blow your mind.

Performance and final words

The VGOD PRO 200W TC Kit is one of the best for cloud chasing. It’s designed by a team of vape tricksters and features a proprietary ATOM.V.200B chip. It delivers stellar vapor production and flavor and the build quality is outstanding.

If you’re looking for a top performing box mod and an equally powerful sub ohm vape tank, this starter kit is definitely worth checking out. Definitely not the cheapest in this category but it’s a device that can handle anything you throw at it.

The only con we found is with the menu system. You have to press a combination of buttons simultaneously rather than clicking the fire button three times like on previous models.

VGOD Tricktank Pro RDTA review

VGOD Tricktank Pro RDTA

The VGOD Tricktank Pro RDTA (Rebuildable Dripping Tank Atomizer) is a 24mm Genesis style tank with a 4ml juice capacity that features dual airflow channels that feed directly towards the coils for a constant and direct coil airflow providing maximum flavour and massive vapour production. One fo the things I really like about this product is the presentation. The Tricktank Pro RDTA comes packaged in a massively oversized box but the reason for this is the fact that everything is nicely put inside a useful zip up pouch. The tank, spare glass tube and two pre-made coils are held securely in the foam inlay and all of the spares and pre-cut cotton wicking strips are inside an aluminium box which has a press fit lid. It certainly all looks great but it does lack for one vital accessory namely a flathead screwdriver which wasn’t a big deal to be honest but it did seem a shame not to include it given the high quality of the overall package.

Focus On www.ave40.com For More Vape Tank.

VGOD Tricktank Pro RDTA styling and build quality

The Tricktank Pro despite being classed as a RDTA (Rebuildable Dripping Tank Atomizer) is essentially a Genesis style tank which has the deck positioned at the top with a reservoir of juice located beneath it. When your coils are fitted the cotton is pushed down through the four wicking holes about half way down the tank and the juice is drawn upward to the coil. Due to this arrangement, and like many other Genesis tanks, you will have to periodically tilt the tank to make sure the wicks remain saturated.

The machining of the Tricktank Pro is excellent with no sharp edges to be found and the styling is very clean and streamlined with only a single neat “VGOD” logo engraved on the atomizer. The atomizer measures 24mm in diameter so it may overhang a little on some mods. The O-rings seem to be of a decent quality and the package does include spares should they ever start to degrade. Included with the tank is a wide bore Delrin drip tip but it does not use a standard 510 connector so you won’t be able to swap it with a smaller one from your collection. Nevertheless it does feel very comfortable to use and the Delrin material will minimise the amount of heat that reaches your lips.

The glass tube is reasonably thick but you do need to unscrew the centre post 510 pin to clean it. The package includes a spare glass tube should you ever accidentally smash it. The 510 pin is gold-plated copper giving excellent conductivity. The deck uses the very popular “Velocity” style configuration and has two posts with each have two holes apiece. The holes are 4mm in diameter which means you can easily use thicker wire types and since there is plenty of space on the deck you can also make your coils much larger in diameter if you wish.

Each side of the deck has two large air holes which you position your coils directly over. The Tricktank Pro description suggests it can be used with a single coil and while this is true in terms of setting up the build there is no plug for the airflow hole on the opposite side and since the airflow itself is non-adjustable I would be hesitant to suggest that you use it in anything other than dual coil mode. Finally the tank has a 4ml juice capacity which should be more than sufficient for typical users.

Focus On www.ave40.com For More Vape Tank.

Airflow

The Tricktank Pro has two large horizontal slots and four large air holes in the deck so it certainly is not short of airflow. The airflow is fixed and cannot be adjusted so if you don’t like full on airy vapes then this product is not for you! The draw itself is extremely open and you can keep inhaling for as long as your lungs can keep up.

Ease of build

I made the decision not to make use of the included pre-made Clapton coils since I knew this atomizer would be going into a competition so instead I made two coils of my own using 26 gauge Kanthal, ten wraps apiece around a 3mm screwdriver. The final Resistance was about 0.50hm. Fitting the coils was very easy due to the roomy deck. The screws work really well and hold the wire securely. It can be ever so slightly awkward to tighten up the lower set of screws since the rim of the deck tends to get in the way a little. Wicking is straightforward and I made use of two of the nicely pre-cut strips included in the box. For the coil diameter I was using I did find that I needed to trim them down a little to make it easy to fit through the coils and into the fill holes. Ideally your wicks need to be positioned about halfway down the glass tank and I found an Allen Key to be very useful in pushing down the wick.

Once this was done I saturated the wicks with some Ronin Vapes Dojo Vanilla. Filling is a little tricky since there is a single fill hole located on the side of the tank and ideally you need a bottle with a small nozzle and not a huge 60ml dropper bottle like what I was using. It is important that you fill the tank slowly because otherwise the pressure will force the liquid out of the hole as you are filling.

How does it vape?

Since the VGOD Tricktank Pro is a Genesis style tank you do need to wait a little longer for the wikcing to fully saturate or you will just taste cotton for your first few vapes. Once fully saturated the Tricktank Pro offers an absolutely stellar quality of vape with very rich, highly distinct flavour where you can even pick out individual notes in the juice!

The cloud production is also phenomenal and it really does put out huge amounts of vapour. If you have ever seen one of those old World War II movies where a tank or artillery piece fires and there is a big huge plume of smoke left behind that is pretty much what it looks like when vaping the Tricktank albeit at a smaller scale. Seriously cloud chasing fans will truly love this and probably get hours of fun making creating vapour rings and other shenanigans!

Focus On www.ave40.com For More Vape Tank.

Even though the very open airflow is completely fixed I never felt that it reduced the flavour of the juice I was using but it might have been nice to make it fully adjustable just so single coil users could get in on the fun. Strangely enough the amount of juice that gets vaped off seems quite reasonable and it took me a while to drain the tank when vaping at 40 watts. I think in some ways this is due to how well the cotton retains the liquid. As I mentioned earlier you do have to occasionally tilt the tank it between hits to make sure the cotton stays saturated.

One thing I should point out is that this thing hits hard and my typical 6mg juice seemed more like I was vaping 12mg because after a very short amount of time I was literally as high as a kite and my head was buzzing. Sadly all these mouth to lung tanks that I frequently use these days has made me into a lightweight so I had to take a break from the insane vape that this tank offers for a bit but despite that I can’t see anyone being disappointed by the the Tricktank Pro at all!

Conclusion

In my opinion the VGOD Tricktank Pro is a superb Genesis style atomizer that offers an excellent highly flavoursome vape with an obscene amount of cloud production beautifully packaged in a convenient carrying case that is loaded with spares. If massive cloud production and top notch flavour is what you are after then this product will certainly be well worth picking up!

Aspire ETS Glass (BVC) Review

One of the newest dual bottom coil clearomizers to come out by Aspire; the ET-S BDC clearomizer. It features dual heating coils to produce twice as much vapor than with the standard single bottom coil, while always providing just the correct amount of e juice.

There are no exposed wicks in this clearo because the liquid is funneled into 2 holes on the sides of the coil. The capacity is 2.0 mL (which is the standard), and comes by default with a 1.8 ohm dual coil head (2.1 ohm dual coil heads are available for purchase too).

Focus On www.urvapin.com For Best Vape Tanks.

Threading

510 eGo adapter

The Aspire ET-S BDC (bottom dual coil) is eGo threaded, so it will not fit devices that only have the inner 510 thread. However, there are no worries! Our buddies over at myfreedomsmokes sells the510/eGo adapters for only a few dollars.

With these little adapters you can easily place on nearly any clearomizer of your choice without an leaking issue!

BDC vs BC

The Bottom Dual Coil (BDC) design has been a major upgrade to the Aspire line of clearomizers when you compare them to their single coiled counterparts. Not only does the clearomizer produce more flavorful vapor, it has less of a drag, no leaking and its’  uniquely designed replaceable coil and airflow system knock the other clearomizers out of the park.

The Aspire ET-S BDC was designed differently to eliminate the common problems most clearomizers have; that “airy draw” feeling, and the common gurgling noise which indicates liquid leaking from the clearomizer onto the battery. It is made entirely of metal and pyrex glass (for the tank).

The outer metal sheath protects the glass, and it is very reminiscent of the Kanger Evod in its’ style; in the way that it has a clear-slit window that shows you where the e juice levels of your tank is at all times.

Speaking of E Liquid

Aspire ET-S BDC

There has been a little bit of ruckus floating around the forums stating that the Aspire ET-S does not handle thick liquids very well.

If your personal preference is VG that your vaping on, then you shall find out you will have a slightly harder draw to take, however thinning your e liquid down makes everything easier.

Focus On www.urvapin.com For Best Vape Tanks.

Capacity & Filling

Since the Aspire ET-S is a dual coil clearomizer, it is more important to follow the instructions regarding the amount of liquid you want to have in your tank at all times.

These dual coil clearomizers have higher chanced to burnout with lower e liquid than the standard single coils. Failing to keep the proper amount of e juice in your tank can result in a damaged or burnt wick; as well as cause leaking.

To fill properly, adhere to the following:

  1.  Turn the tank upside down and remove the threaded cap
  2. Slowly fill the outer part of the tank (sometimes if you try to squeeze the liquid in too much; it will overflow into the airflow tube located in the center of the clearomizer; causing it to leak)
  3. Make sure you tightly screw the cap back on.
  4. Flip it back right side up and check for any leaks before you start vaping!

Fix the Leaking

To ensure the best performance of this and any clearomizer, remove the tank from the battery and blow through the mouthpiece. Any excess liquid will come out on the threaded end of the device.

Clean out the entire unit with water and let it dry. This ensures the best possible taste when you use it again.

If these problems happen more than just when you are refilling; make sure you check that all the connections are screwed down properly.

If these problems persist, you might need to replace the coil head, wick or both.

Coil Heads

One of the new features on the Aspire ET-S is the coil head set-up. The coil heads have 2 holes in them to allow liquid to pass through. Still not completely convinced this clearomizer is the end-all to be all of the clearos’; but it does interest me enough to find out.

It is recommended that the coil be used with 3-5 volts.

There are 2 popular methods:Aspire BDC 1.8 atomizer head

  1. Unscrew tank
  2. Pulse the head
  3. Soak it in hot water for 3-5 minutes
  4. Blow
  5. Vape

Or

  1. Unscrew head
  2. Lift garbage lid
  3. Drop in garbage
  4. Insert new $2 head that will last 1-2 weeks

For those of us not savvy enough to clean our coil heads, and don’t want to deal with the wicks, the second option is more practical and you can find them in 5-packs over at mt.baker vapor (which has pretty good deals on stuff like this)

iJoy Combo RDTA Review

The iJoy Combo RDTA is a rebuildable atomizer the likes of which I have never seen before, and I’m willing to bet, neither have you. From the outside, it looks like an almost perfect replica of the Limitless Plus RDTA, which kind of makes sense considering that the two companies have (or had) some sort of partnership going on, but on the inside, the iJoy COMBO RDTA is a whole other animal. This thing has not one, not two, but six available building decks – only two of which come included in the kit – as well as an RDA deck and a pre-made coil head, which is actually a disposable deck with two fused coils. Whatever build you want to try, whatever type of wire you want to use, with the iJoy Combo RDTA, you can do it.

ijoy-combo-rdta

Focus On www.ave40.com For More Vape Tank.

The iJoy Combo RDTA kit is one of the most bountiful vaping packages I have seen in a while, probably ever. It contains the highly acclaimed Limitless Plus-style RDTA, two interchangeable build decks – one Velocity-style and one Goon-style – a pre-made coil head, a spare glass tube, a spare top cap for 510 drip tips, a bag of goodies (colored o-rings for the tank, a plastic deck adapter for single coil vaping, a 510 delrin drip tip, a bunch of extra screws and even a spare positive pin. You also get a Phillips head screw driver and flat screwdriver. It really doesn’t get much better than that, especially for an average price of around $40. The RDTA alone is worth that much, but with all the extras included, it’s practically a steal.

You’ll notice that there is no user manual in the contents list above. That’s because iJoy doesn’t include one, so if you’re not familiar with RDAs, RDTAs and installing coils, don’t look for help in the box. The Combo RDTA is aimed exclusively at advanced vapers who know what they are doing. So if that’s not you, I’d recommend starting with something a lot simpler and slowly working your way to this type of complex atomizers. Yes, it does have that pre-made coil that comes with its own deck, and it works reasonably well, but you’re not getting the whole Combo experience.

ijoy-combo-rdta-kit

As I mentioned in the opening paragraph, at first glance, the iJoy Combo RDTA looks almost identical to the Limitless Plus RDTA. Now, ever since iJoy and Vapor Hub, the US-based parent company of Limitless, started working together, we’ve seen the Limitless logo on quite a number of Chinese products that had clearly not been designed by the American company – like the iJoy/Limitless Lux – but the Combo RDTA is clearly a Limitless Plus on steroids, only it says “designed and manufactured by iJoy” on the box and there’s no mention of Limitless. The story is that this has led to a rupture between the two companies.

Both sides have posted their own version of the story on social media, but basically Limitless is accusing the Chinese of stealing their design and the idea for interchangeable decks, while iJoy claims that the Combo RDTA is their own idea, adding that Vapor Hub had defaulted on payments. So it would appear that the two companies are no longer on good terms, and that the device I’m talking about in this review is the main reason for that.

ijoy-combo-rdta-starter-kit

Controversy aside, the Combo RDTA is a killer device. If you’re the kind of vaper who loves doing builds and experimenting with different types of decks and wires, this thing will probably save you a small fortune, because you no longer need a bunch of different atomizers. It’s a 6-in-1, for crying out loud.

If you’re familiar with the Limitless Plus RDTA, you’ll probably want to skip the next two paragraphs, because you won’t learn anything new. The iJoy RDTA is 25mm in diameter and 53mm tall. iJoy claims that it has an e-liquid capacity of 6.5ml, and I’m not going to argue with that, but I only managed to put in around 6ml, because I didn’t want to risk it overflowing through the fill port. The port is located on the side of the atomizer, but you have to remove the top cover to access it. The fill port is nice and large, making it easy to fill the tank with virtually any size dropper or unicorn bottle. The great thing about it is that it’s sealed by the rubber o-rings of the RDA cover, making leaking a non-issue even when tilting your mod to improve wicking.

Focus On www.ave40.com For More Vape Tank.

The iJoy Combo RDTA comes with a delrin chuff drip tip, that can easily be replaced with a classic 510, simply by switching the top cap of the device with the extra one included in the package. The RDA cover is made of stainless steel and has these huge adjustable airflow slots that provide the airiest vape I’ve ever enjoyed on an RDA/RDTA. We can’really talk about the deck yet, because it doesn’t have just one, but a total of six, as well as the pre-made coil head and an RDA deck. The tank itself is pretty standard, and so is the base.

Okay, so let’s get to what really makes the iJoy Combo RDTA so special – the interchangeable decks. The Chinese company claims that they are all made of stainless steel and gold plated to improve conductivity. The atomizer comes with one deck pre-installed, but if you want to change it, you can easily do so by unscrewing the positive pin on the bottom, taking it out and just screwing off the mounted deck. Then, just screw on the other deck of your choice, put the pin back in, and you’re good to go. It’s a really simple and ingenious design that makes changing the decks quick and effortless.

ijoy-combo-rdta-parts

The Combo RDTA kit only comes with two of the six available decks, but I for one consider them to be the best of the six currently available. We have the tried-and-true Velocity style deck with the two big-ass posts and huge slots that should fit any type and gauge of wire on the market these days, including alien wire and ribbon. If you’ve ever built on a Velocity deck before, you already know how great it is compared to classic RDA decks, so I’m not going to praise it any more.

Then, we have the real star of this kit, the popular Goon-style deck. Virtually every reviewer I follow on YouTube has at least talked about this innovative deck at least once since it came out, in March, 2016. The special thing about it is that instead of wire slots and screws, it uses a clamp system to fasten the coils in place. This gives you way more room to maneuver and improves conductivity, because you no longer have to stack beefy coil leads one on top of each other to make them fit through the wire holes. It might seem like a pain to insert the coils at first, but that’s just until you realize that it doesn’t have to be perfect. As long as the leads get pressed down into the two clamps, you should be just fine.

ijoy-combo-rdta-full

Focus On www.ave40.com For More Vape Tank.

And in case you’re curious, iJoy doesn’t include the original Goon deck into the kit, but the upgraded one, with the spring-loaded screws that open up the clamps as you unscrew them and close it back down as you screw them back in. This thing is a tiny wonder, believe me. This was my first experience with a Goon-style deck, and I have to say that the hype is real. As I write this review, I’m actually vaping on the Combo RDTA with the Goon deck, and it’s absolutely fantastic. Coils line up with the air slots perfectly, the leads stay firmly in place and the vaping experience is divine.

As I said, these are the two best decks of the lot, and you get them both included in the package. But, if you’re curious about the four other decks available, you can buy them separately, as well as the RDA base.

ijoy-combo-rdta-deck-options

Here’s what the other four available decks are: you have the classic two post deck, another classic four post deck (both with huge wire holes), the original Goon-style deck (without the spring loaded springs) and a hybrid Goon/classic deck with two massive, hollowed-out posts and four thick screws to tighten down the wires.

They all look well designed and sturdy as can be, but unless you really want to have the whole collection of decks, or for some reason hate both the Velocity and the Goon, there’s really no need to spend extra on any of these decks. The two that come with the RDTA are more than enough for anyone, if you ask me.

ijoy-combo-rdta-decks

However, if you really want the whole iJoy Combo RDTA experience, the one thing that’s really worth a few extra dollars is the RDA base. Unfortunately, it’s only available as a separate purchase, but it’s worth it, mostly because of the huge well that acts as a reservoir for e-liquid. You can just fill it up with juice and the cotton is going to wick until it dries, saving you the effort of dripping every couple of hits. The machining is nice as well, and it’s just a nice thing to have if you ever feel like using this thing in RDA mode.

There’s also a white ceramic chuff cap that you can buy separately, but it doesn’t affect the performance of the RDTA in any way, it’s just something extra that you can spend some bucks on.

ijoy-combo-rdta-extras

Like that of any Genesis-style atomizer, the performance of the iJoy Combo RDTA relies heavily on proper wicking. Since the juice tank sits under the heating elements, you have to make sure that the cotton leads reaching into the tank are just the right size and thickness. Otherwise, you’re going to get dry hits, or the vapor is not going to be as tasty as it should. I for one am currently using the two Kanthal coils included in the iJoy goodie bag, with some Cotton Bacon. I cut the cotton right where I could see the tips of the leads reaching into the tank, and made sure that the cotton strands were thin enough not to block the deck slots completely. So when I tilt my mod, I know that the juice can make its way to the coils. If you’ve never used an RDTA before, getting the wicking right on your first try is pretty tough, but I suggest watching some YouTube tutorials, and try again.

Provided you coil and wick it right, the iJoy Combo RDTA is a spectacular tank. Vapor production is off the chart with my current 0.15Ω dual-coil build at around 90W, and the flavor is not too shabby either. Keep in mind that this is primarily a vapor tank, not a flavor one, so if you’re a mouth-to-lung flavor chaser, you probably won’t be very impressed. However, I found that by closing the airflow slots halfway, you can actually increase the intensity of the flavor considerably, while losing just a tiny bit of vapor. To be honest, keeping both of them fully open made the vape way to airy for me. I felt like there was no restrictions to the draw at all.

combo-rdta-pre-made-coil

I’ve experienced no leaking in the two weeks using the iJoy Combo RDTA, but keep in mind that this is a Genesis style device, so you’re bound to get a little juice on your fingers from time to time, either when refilling the tank, or simply when taking off the RDA cap to check the coils. It’s definitely not a con, though, just the way this system works.

The one thing you should be wary of before buying this awesome RDTA is that it’s a juice guzzler, especially when using fancy dual coil builds. I’ve gone through a whole 30ml bottle of Max VG e-liquid in a day, which I’ve never done before (and I didn’t even use it exclusively), so I for one am not going to be using it regularly, for financial reasons. It’s a nice thing to  whip out on occasions, or if you can get quality e-liquid for cheap, but otherwise it’s going to burn a hole through your wallet.

iJoy Elite Mini & Elite Mini Sub-Ohm Starter Kit Review

iJoy Elite Mini 60W Kit

Should you decide to take the plunge and pop over to Element Vape to pick up the latest Starter Kit from iJoy, the new iJoy Elite Mini 60W with the Elite (Captain Mini) Sub-Ohm & RTA Tank, you’ll notice it’s smaller than the photos accompanying this review make it appear. In this case, its smallness works in its favor. After all, it is just a 60W Mod. However, where is falls a bit short in maximum wattage output it makes up in being one smart-looking mod, and the included Sub-Ohm/RTA fits the chassis spectacularly well.

Focus On www.ave40.com For More Vape Kits.

  • IJOY ELITE MINI 60W STARTER KIT Review by Spinfuel VAPE

While its overall size is a mere 74.7mm by 45mm by 25mm, everything else about the Mod is over-sized; large front panel fire button, laser-sharp OLED display, and even the arrow-shaped adjustment buttons are amply sized for the chassis of the Elite Mini. Although in many ways it is a true iJoy device, there are design elements that seem to be inspired by SMOKTech, particularly its carbon fiber side panels. And I can see a little Eleaf influence as well. If you’re familiar with the iJoy Elite PS2170, this “mini” Elite looks nothing like it.

Maybe it does max out at 60W, but the versatility of the Elite Mini makes it one of the most innovative Mods yet from iJoy I’ve seen this year. What other Mod on the market includes a tank that is both a sub-ohm tank with prebuilt coils, a removeable build deck for a clean looking RTA, and a J&P adapter that allows the Mod to use Juul and Phix“Pods”?

Focus On www.ave40.com For More Vape Kits.

Feature Highlights

The iJoy ELITE Mini 60W Starter Kit’s features a decent internal 2200mAh Li-Po battery, plus all-inclusive output modes that puts the Elite Sub-Ohm RTA Tank to the task. The iJoy ELITE Mini 60W Kit is lightweight and compact, with exemplary battery management that can allow for a lengthy vape time before recharging.

The Elite Mini’s temperature control settings allow the user to build coils with Stainless Steel, Nickel, and Titanium wire, and allows the user to customize the optimal vape through its TCR Mode. And should the user also vape with a Juulpod mod, the included adapter turns the unit into one of the best methods for vaping nicotine salt e-juice. I was surprised to see actual pods inside the box as well.

While using the Elite Mini tank as an RTA the user can build coils with an ultra-low resistance of 0.05-ohm, or as high as 3.0-ohms. Used as a sub-ohm, the Elite Miniincludes 2x 0.25-ohm prebuilt coils with a range of 30-60W. Offering excellent flavor fidelity and ample clouds with these low wattage requirements means a much longer battery life and a lot less e-juice consumption than its mid-wattage and high-wattage counterparts.

The Elite (Captain Mini) Sub-Ohm/RTA Tank

As I previously mentioned, the iJoy Elite Sub-Ohm & RTA tank features a removable deck, and it also has a nice push-n-slide top-fill system and airflow slots that provide more than enough air for big direct lung pulls.

The push-n-slide top fill system is virtually leakproof, and the silicone covering the fill slots will prevent e-juice from leaking when turned upside down. Of course, that also means that in order to properly fill the tank you’ll need to push through the silicone to get the dropper or unicorn bottle needle nose into the tank.  Its dual bottom base airflow slots let air in from the bottom base cap and is then forced up and past the coils for pure flavor and vapor. Whether the tank is being used as a full-blown RTA or as a sub-ohm tank, the vape experience can be tailored for the optimal vape of the user… to a point. Lastly, its 810 wide bore drip tip keeps things nice and cool, while being large enough for strong pulls. The aforementioned J&P adapter screws onto the 510-connector atop the Elite Mini making it supremely easy for a Juul and Phix pod (included) to be attached.

Its included coils are outfitted with exposed dual wire coils and organic cotton wicking. From the outset the user will get an RTA vape quality that is surprisingly good. The last time I used coils built this way was during a GeekVape Eagle Sub-Ohm Tank review.

The only negative of this otherwise excellent tank is its size; the preinstalled glass tank has a TPD compliant 2mL capacity, and inside the box is a small bubble glass tank that provides an additional 1mL capacity. While the maximum wattage range is lower than most sub-ohms, its small capacity will still require frequent refills.

Vaping the iJoy Elite Mini Kit

As I mentioned in the first paragraph, the chassis of the Elite Mini is smaller than you might realize, yet its grip fits any sized hand comfortably. It’s large fire button is an easy reach, and its firm and responsive as more costly alternatives.

Despite the Elite Sub-Ohm/RTA being included in the Starter Kit, you can use other Sub-Ohm tanks or RTA/RDA/RDTA provided they won’t need more than 60W, nor more than 25mm wide. I found vaping with several sub-ohm tanks, including the SMOK Baby Prince, (23mm width at the base) the Cascade Baby  which has a 24.5mm width at the base, and now available as a standalone tank. as well as the Joyetech ProCore Air Plus.

Most of the time I used the prebuilt Kanthal coils that come with the starter kit (and Kanthal used in the additional Sub-Ohm Tanks) and found them to be very effective at producing huge clouds of vapor at just 50W-60W with the right choice of coils. Flavor fidelity was spot on with my favorite e-liquids, and after 5 days of vaping fairly heavily with the included coils of the Elite Mini tank, the coil life doesn’t seem diminished at all.

The two included coils make it easy to remove the cotton wicking and replace them, and if the user maintains the wire coils they can last a very long time (for coils anyway).

Everyday vaping by this reviewer allowed for more than 4 hours of vape time before needing to recharge the battery. Recharge time averaged about 2 hours to fully recharge the depleted battery. For a complete look at the Specs of both the Elite Mini and the Elite (Captain Mini) Sub-Ohm, see the dropdown boxes above.

For my vape needs the iJoy Elite Mini and Elite Mini sub-ohm (Captain Mini) won’t replace my high-wattage mod or large 5-7.5mL sub-ohm tanks, but as a secondary device it certainly fills the bill. Users that are not looking for a high-wattage vape, the Elite Mini and its Sub-Ohm/RTA tank is an excellent choice. There is a lot to offer the user for under $55.

The iJoy Elite Mini 60W Starter Kit is currently available in Mirror Silver or Mirror Red. My test unit was the Mirror Red. Perhaps if the Elite Mini starter kit finds an audience iJoy will see fit to offer more color configurations.

Wismec RX Mini 80W TC Review: Another JayBo Mini Box Mod

And I thought the Vaporesso Mini took the cake for smallest box mod. Now, we have a new contender for that title. The Wismec Reuleaux Mini has entered the ring as a possible contender for a powerful, multi-feature device that is about the size of an old-school Nokia cellphone.

The pairing of Wismec with the American vape designer JayBo has been a fruitful relationship up to this point. So far, I reviewed over four different devices that have borne the JayBo imprint, and I have to say they have never failed to impress.

Wismec RX Mini 80W TC Vape MOD Review

Focus On www.urvapin.com For More Vape Start Kit.

This latest offering is their take on the growing mini-mod market that sees devices getting smaller and smaller without sacrificing power output or vapor quality. The Wismec has a built-in 2100mAh battery that can power a maximum output of 80W. The kit comes complete with an RX Mini tank that features a 0.2ohm stainless steel coil.

Some other features of the Wismec RX Mini kit include:

  • Temperature range is your par-for-the-course 200F – 600F
  • Resistance range of 0.1ohms to 3.5ohms in variable wattage mode/0.05ohms to 1.5ohms in temperature control mode
  • 510 gold-plated, spring-loaded connector pin
  • Pre-heat function that can get power to your coil faster
  • OLED display
  • Variable wattage, bypass, temperature control and TCR modes
The
Kit Stuff

Wismec almost makes it a point of pride to have elegant, all-black packaging for most of their mods and tanks, and the RX Mini is no exception.

A red Reuleaux RXmini box mod

Here’s what you’ll find inside the kit:

  • One Reuleaux RX Mini-mod
  • One Reuleaux Mini tank
  • Two triple 0.2ohms coil heads
  • Two sealing rings
  • One RX Mini sticker
  • One USB charging cable
  • Two user manuals for the tank and the mod
Lots of Power Packed in the Small Mod

As history has shown, Wismec and JayBo know what they’re doing when it comes to designing functional, stylish, and powerful box mods. The RX Mini doesn’t fit the category of the “box” mod style, per se. It has six edges, like its big brother, the regular sized Reuleaux, which was something that I liked, regarding the aesthetics, but it did make it awkward to hold.

Standing at only 58mm tall, the RX Mini does live up to its moniker (58mm without the tank attached). There is one firing button on the front panel of the mod, which is right above the OLED screen.

The selector buttons are located on the bottom of the device; something I had never seen before and I wasn’t sure if that was an innovative choice or that it was a mere gimmick.

The screen is big and bright and displays all its information in easy-to-read digits. The 510 connector on the top of the mod can comfortably fit any 510 threaded tanks that don’t exceed a diameter of 22mm.

The backside of the mod features a finely textured leather panel that adds a whole bunch of glass to the stainless steel construction of the mod, which doesn’t translate to quite a bit of heft. Once you have the Mini in your hands, you do feel the weight of those well-made parts.

Looking at the Mini, you do get the impression that they did feed the Mini a little too much. It’s quite wide and has an ungainly shape that might be great for your grip, but despite its small size, its ample girth doesn’t necessarily translate to portability or discreteness.

The RX Mini tank is yet another design and functionality coup. It is made of durable, sturdy stainless steel and glass and it comes apart easily enough to allow for quick cleaning and maintenance.

Even if it is a top-fill tank, you can still swap out your coils when the tank is filled, by turning the tank upside down and taking out the atomizer from the bottom. The tank has bottom airflow valves that are fully adjustable.

The Reuleaux Mini Interface

I have always been irked by difficult-to-fill tanks. And I haven’t been able to understand why most manufacturers don’t make this essential factor of vaping easier.

Wismec is perhaps the only manufacturer that features an open-source, top-fill tank with a top cap that is fully removable, so you have a wide circle to fill your tank. That was one, a low-tech feature that I could appreciate.

Going on to the more advanced features of the Reuleaux Mini, the device does feature a simple interface that doesn’t take much to learn. I was impressed by the preheat function that allows you to set a temperature that the mod automatically heats up to when it is activated.

Five clicks on, five clicks off, is how you activate the mod. You can choose a stealth mode that turns off the OLED readout for discreet, on-the-go vaping. You press the firing button three times to access the modes menu.

To scroll through the different menu options, you use the selector buttons on the bottom of the mod that takes some getting used to. You, at first, turn over the mod to press the buttons but then you can’t see where you are going because you can’t see the OLED display. So that was a little annoying, although props to JayBo for trying something different.

The Wismec RX Mini – What About Vaping

Of course, the Reuleaux Mini mod can be paired with many different tanks, if they have 510 threading and don’t go over 22mm in diameter. And that’s important because I wasn’t thoroughly enthralled by the tank and coil combination.

I liked the Delrin, wide-bore mouthpiece, and the overall design and appearance of the mod was something to behold. But I felt that the low power output of the mod was a poor match for the tank’s potential, and vice-versa.

Trying the coils with a low wattage output (around 50W) didn’t produce much in the way of flavor, although, of course, the cloud was more than noticeable. Pushing the wattage, I found a little more taste, hovering around 70W.

But getting to the maximum output of 80W lead to disaster: a dry hit. I was confused since I had the TC setting on with my stainless steel coils, but the system faltered for some reason and my coils burnt up.

So I had to replace the coil, (thanks for that, at least, Wismec), and went a little higher in my coil resistance and lowered my maximum temperature, which did result in a better vape. The cloud production was minimal, but the flavor was much better.

The Wismec Reuleaux RXmini in silver

Comparing the Reuleaux Mini

Given the dearth of mini or nano mods hitting the market in the last few months, there were a lot of options to make comparisons to the Reuleaux Mini. I decided to go with another reputable company, V2 and their Trinity model that is supposed to be a vape pen in a box mod style, but I decided to compare them anyway.

The Trinity has a sub-ohm capability and also features a tiny OLED screen that lets you adjust the temperature and wattage. The tank on the Trinity has a 2ml capacity and features interchangeable coils. But the Reuleaux has more features (that preheat feature is a boss) and allows for more customizability.

I’m going to give this one to the Reuleaux Mini just for the variety of features that the Trinity does not have. But also because of the greater wattage output and the power of its battery.

Focus On www.urvapin.com For More Vape Start Kit.

LOOKSReuleaux RX Mini Kit in hand

The Reuleaux Mini is very impressive looks-wise. It’s wholly streamlined and has a well-thought-out design scheme that emphasizes its best points like the OLED screen and the leather sticker on the back that functions well and adds a touch of class.

EASE OF USE

The Reuleaux Mini is relatively straightforward. The menus and button combinations don’t take a lot to learn or master and the placement of the selector buttons, while out of the ordinary didn’t take away from the overall functionality.

FIRMWARE/PREHEAT FUNCTION

A lot of box mods allow you a customizable vaping experience that also lets you program the perfect vaping settings. The preheat function on the Reuleaux is so easy to use and program, and it was a winner for me.

HEAVY

The Reuleaux may be mini in size, but its weight is noticeable and inconvenient. The weight combined with the odd shape makes the Reuleaux Mini a poor choice for a portable mod.

TANK/COILS

The Reuleaux Mini isn’t a powerful device, and I didn’t expect it to be, but even still, the tank and the coil couldn’t handle the higher wattage levels that you can get to on this mod.

Wismec Sinuous Ravage 230 Kit Review – 200W Dual 18650 Starter Kit

Wismec Ravage 230 Review

Today I will be reviewing the Wismec Sinuous Ravage 230 Kit, bundled with the GNOME Evo tank.

Focus On www.urvapin.com For More Vape Start Kit.

Wismec Sinuous Ravage 230 Introduction

Wismec are back again with the Wismec Ravage 230 and another designed by Sinuous Design. A small form factor mod very similar in looks to the Predator mod. Wismec for me have had their ups and downs in terms of mods. First off we had the incredible, tank like RX200 ( Which I have owned from release and still works ) through to the disappointing Exo Skeleton and the mixed review mod the Predator. I personally have owned all of the RX series at one point or another and was put off by the rest when it came to other reviewers reviews. This time however I was hopeful that Wismec could restore some faith in their products with the Ravage 230. Read on to hear my thoughts.

  • SINUOUS RAVAGE230
  • USB Cable
  • Spare Parts ( O-rings, Glass )
  • GNOME Evo
  • User Manuals ( Mod and Tank )
  • Single 0.4ohm Head

Wismec Sinuous Ravage 230 Closer Look

I was sent the stainless steel and black mod for review. In the box, this was what I was met with and it looked really nice. So taking it out of the box for the first time it felt a nice weight and sturdy. On the top of the Ravage 230 you will find your centred 510 connection which is much needed these days and allows larger tanks to sit up top and I think they look better centred on this size mod.

Wismec Sinuous Ravage 230 Box Mod SpecsWith the screen towards you, the left-hand side is where you will find a large firing bar and a smaller function button above this. This smaller function button does two different jobs. Firstly a quick press puts the mod into stealth mod and holding this button down flicks to the next vaping mode. Holding the function button for 3 seconds brings up the clock on the display. Likewise the firing bar as well as powering the mod on and off ( five clicks ), firing the mod you will find three clicks brings you to the menus.

Central to the mod body you will find the 1.45inch colour screen. The screen is nice and clear and of a good size to display all of the relevant information in one place. The screen does stick out slightly leaving it prone to scratching is left face down. I would have preferred a recessed screen perhaps.

Below the screen are your up and down buttons for navigating the menu and adjusting wattage and temp settings. You will also find the USB connection for charging ( recommend to charge externally) and for upgrading the firmware.

Right at the base of the mod is the battery door which slides open and shut and locks into place perfectly. Venting for the mod is also found here. I suspect there are vent holes on the right side of the mod as there looks to be a couple towards the top of the handgrip on the right.

Hands on with the GNOME Evo

This is my first time with a Wismec tank. The GNOME is received is the 2ml variant meaning it is TPD compliant. Looking closer at this now from top to bottom we start with the Drip Tip. This is a 510 drip tip that serves a dual purpose. Firstly and most obvious it is your mouthpiece and second and not so obvious it also forms part of the child-proof locking system for the top fill cap. I think this is a good idea but it is always a good idea to keep these things out of reach of children but again it is a good idea.

With the drip tip removed you can slide the top cap back to reveal a good sized filling hole leading into the 2ml tank. The coil is situated here as expected and screws into the base nicely. The base itself has two reasonably sized airflow holes.

Using the Wismec Sinuous Ravage 230 and Gnome Evo

This has had a vast amount of use over the past two weeks and has been in daily use since receiving the mod. Obviously, this was to test it for the review but also because it is such a nice mod to use. The GNOME Evo has had an average amount of use I would say but I have been using various tanks and RDA‘s on the mod to check performance. Overall I found performance to be very good in wattage mode. Temp control mode was at times a little underwhelming but then again I have never been much of a fan of TC mode in any mod.

Wismec Sinuous Ravage 230 Kit ReviewThe menu system is nice and simple, Just how I like things. I like to get a mod and get on vaping it without no tricky menus to navigate or button combos to remember.

I found the Ravage to be of decent build quality, It has had a drop and escaped without a scratch. Remembering back to the RX200 that was a tank and was put through the wars on many an occasion. Paintwork on the base and top is of a high standard. No wear and tear marks from placing down or unscrewing attys. One thing that disappoints me in mods is the ease in which that ring appears around the top or chip marks on the bases that just happen so fast.

The GNOME Evo tank is a nice tank to vape. The included 0.4ohm coils gave a nice vaping experience and I still have the original coil in which considering I have been using some very sweet juice was positive. Leading up to this two week mark I am noticing a slight muting of the flavour but I would have expected this to of happened much sooner in fairness.

Airflow on the GNOME is nice and found that it allowed just enough air through when wide open to give a satisfactory lung hit. Closing this off even a little does feel a little more restricted that I would have liked, so wide open it stays. The childproof system works and is a nice addition. As I said above these things should never be in reach of children but it is good to see a company taking these potential risks onboard in their design.

Wismec Sinuous Ravage 230 Kit Pros and Cons

The Wismec Sinuous Ravage 230 is a really nice device to use and hold. The weight is really nice and the build quality is superb. Its been a long time since I have had a Wismec mod I guess I got bored of the same old same old look to them as they released new mods.

Pros – Along with the above, I really like the screen. It is very clear and easy to read. The firing button is a great size and generally performance is brilliant.

Cons – The function button whilst handy, I feel would be better located on the front of the mod. I found myself catching it by mistake far too often.

SMOK PRIV One All-In-One Starter Kit Review

I was handed a box that contained the new SMOK PRIV One All-In-One Vape Kit, and I was asked to review it. Easy enough, right? So, I opened it, marveled at the tininess of the thing, swung back the hinge top-fill that every SMOK Tank utilizes, filled it, closed it… then attached the USB cable to charge it up before using. This way, the eliquid would saturate fully while the small 920mAh battery would be topped off. Afterwards, I tried to take a nice long direct lung hit… and nothing. Turns out, the PRIV One comes with two Top-Down(groan) coil heads, neither of which are preinstalled.

So, after attaching one of the Top-Down coils and waiting another hour or so, I began using it that night. Actually, I took it bed with me. Since its so tiny, I figured it wouldn’t bother the wife, and it wouldn’t take much effort on my part to use it. I was right on both counts, kind of. Problem is, when I turned in for the night, about an hour later, I put it on my nightstand, and couldn’t find it again for 3 days…

Bump in the Night

Sometime during the night, I must have knocked the PRIV One off my nightstand while flipping a pillow (always trying to find the cool side), but since it’s nearly weightless, I didn’t hear it fall. Next morning, I went to grab it, couldn’t find it, and then began looking under the bed, under the nightstand, all over the room. It was not to be found…

Three days later I tell my twice-a-week housekeeper about it and if she found it to let me know. Luckily, she did, the SMOK PRIV One somehow fell under the nightstand, and landed directly behind one of the nightstand legs, clear out of view while bending over and looking under the nightstand.

Moral of the above? The SMOK PRIV One is about the tiniest mod I’ve ever seen. It makes the Eleaf Pico seem like a monster-mod.

Word of advice; the SMOK PRIV One comes with a thick lanyardUse it. If you don’t, you’ll more than likely lose yours too. After my housekeeper found it I snapped in the USB cable again, and attached the lanyard.

About the SMOK PRIV One

The SMOK PRIV One is a 60W All-In-One (AIO) Kit from a manufacturer that usually produces much more powerful devices and tanks. There is no display screen, no adjustment buttons… just a tiny window to check the eliquid level and a firing panel. Make no mistake, as small as it is, it isdefinitely a SMOK device.

Measuring 74.2mm by 44.4mm by 24.4mm, the PRIV One attempts to balance performance with a tiny size, not to mention leak-proof. It is a visually appealing mod to some degree, but the shapes or patterns that SMOK calls “flowers” is more like paisley or even stained-glass windows.

The PRIV One is a direct voltage system, one that correlates the battery life to determine the power range with a maximum wattage at 60W when the tank’s coil resistance is 0.15ohm.

It is features the usual number of safety protections such as Impedance Protection, 8 seconds cut-off, low battery warning, and short-circuit protection.

As I said above, the atomizer core, the coils, are top-loaded (top-down), and SMOK tells us this is to prevent leakage while providing easy installation and removal. That may be the case, but as I’ve witnessed in many other top-down coils systems by Joyetech and Eleaf, the top-down system causes a lot of spit-back and pops. Personally, I can’t stand this type of coil.

The kit comes with two 0.6ohm Stick AIO Dual Coils that produce an average amount of flavor and vapor. Certainly nothing to brag about.

The SMOK PRIV One is certainly optimized for the entry-level users looking for a stealthy or travel size vape kit, but to be fair, there are far better vape kits on the market than this one.
